To Our Family and Friends:

A big hello and hoping all is well with everyone.  Time sure goes by quickly, I cannot believe it is only 150 days to our family reunion. We have had quite a few challenges this year to organize the reunion – the biggest is trying to find a location that would accommodate all our requirements.  This year’s reunion is at the The Apple Grove Motel 6000 50th St NE Trans Canada Highway, Canoe B.C. The area does have so much to offer, there is a mini golf course and Go Karts beside the motel. There is a beautiful beach area to go swimming, fishing and boating. The motel is close to Salmon Arm and there is a 18 hole golf course across the street. The motel area is all ours; we have also booked two halls in case of rain for Saturday and Sunday.

I hope you have been on the website:   www.johnstonfamilyreunion.myevent.com

Please send Dana pictures of any new additions to our family, babies, children, new spouses or pets,  so we can get to know them before we meet in August.  If you have any ideas or updates for our website, please contact Dana – dlsilviu@telus.net

We will be updating by the website, anyone who does not have access and would prefer a letter, please indicate on your registration form.   If any one has any problems or concerns; please do not hesitate to contact Linda and Dana at 403 280-5137 or Bruce and Teresa at 403 289-1420.  We want to ensure everyone has transportation, accommodations and that their needs are met to the best of our abilities.  We want everyone to come as per our invitation  and have a great time at this reunion.

If you have not booked accommodations as of today’s date, your options would be as follows and it would be advisable to book early to avoid disappointment.  Please make arrangement for pets, not sure of restrictions at the motels/hotel.

Tenting is available on the grounds, and the Apple Grove will try to accommodate as many as possible at a cost of $20.00 per day.  RV – 6 sites available for $40.00 a day.

Across the Street is a golf course that also has RV Sites - email: golf@clubshuswap.com

Phone 250 832-7345, the golf course opens on March 15, 2007. They are answering to emails now.  We will be arranging a golf tournament in the near future.
